【Poppelvej ポッペルヴァイ】
Poppelvej / ポッペルヴァイは 2016 年にデンマーク人の Uffe Deichmann / ウフェ・ダイヒマンが SA 州マクラーレン・ヴェイルに設立。
マクラーレン・ヴェイルおよびアデレード・ヒルズに位置するオーガニック農法の畑から、年産 5000 箱ほどのワイン(2023 年時点)が仕込まれます。
「ポッペルヴァイ」とは、彼の祖先がデンマークの何もない漁村を開拓した際に造った道路の名前であり、「Poppel=ポプラの樹」を意味します。

ゲヴュルツ(アデレード・ヒルズ産)のオレンジ。
手摘み・9 日間のスキン・コンタクトおよび自然醗酵。
プレスし、オーク樽(500L、新樽なし)で 12 ヶ月熟成。
少量の亜硫酸を添加しボトリング。ノンフィルター、清澄剤不使用。
